Kim Burkhardt holds an MBA. Her background includes market research consulting, teaching business and media studies at the graduate level, founding the former National Network of Prison Nonprofits (NC4RSO), and prison volunteering. In one way or another, Kim has always advocated for people’s ability to achieve more in live via increased ability to positively exert self-agency. These days, she is involved in business start-ups, focusing particularly on supporting people’s increased self-agency through self-employment.

Alison Granger-Brown, Ph.D. is writing "Lora's Book": a book about a connection between two women - an Ontario Ojibwe woman incarcerated and then formerly incarcerated in B.C. and her connection with a corrections staffer who supported Lora's journey toward wellness.
